Heyyyyyy friend!!!

We have got the relationship between mean, median and mode according to which.......

3Median= Mode + 2Mean

3×12= 15 + 2Mean

36 = 15 + 2mean

21 = 2mean

Hence, the Mean = 10.5.

Hope it helps you out...

Answer:

The mean is 10.5.

Explanation:

Given: Mode is 15.

Median is 12.

Find: The arithmetic mean.

Solution:

Mean: The mean (average) of a data set is found by adding all numbers in the data set and then dividing by the number of values in the set.

Mode: The median is the middle value when a data set is ordered from least to greatest.

Median: The mode is the number that occurs most often in a data set.

Now, the formula is

3median=mode+2mean

            Putt the values

3 \times 12=15+2 \times mean\\36-15=2 mean\\21=2mean\\mean=\frac{21}{2}\\ =10.5

Hence, the mean is 10.5.
