∵ Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal

∴ 3x – 2 = 50 – x

⇒ 3x + x – 50 + 2

⇒ 4x = 52

⇒ x = 524 = 13

∴ ∠A = 3x – 2 = 3 x 13 – 2 = 39° – 2 = 37°

∠C = 50° -x = 50° – 13 = 37°

But∠A + B = 180°

∴ 37° + ∠B = 180°

⇒ ∠B = 180° – 37° = 143°



and ∠D = ∠B (Opposite angles of a ||gm)

∴ ∠D = 143°
