Answer:please mark me as brainliest

Explanation:

Percentage increase in kinetic energy is 300%

.

Explanation:

Momentum of a body of given mass, is directly proportiional to its velocity. In fact momentum is mass multiplied by velocity.

Kinetic energy of a body of given mass, is directly proportiional to its square of its velocity.

When momentum is doubled, mass remaining constant, this means velcity is doubled.

Hence, kinetic energy becomes

2*2=4  times  i.e. say from  100  units to  400  units.

and percentage increase in kinetic energy is  400-100=300%

Answer: The relation between KE and momentum is

KE = p^2 /2m -------------1

If its momentum is doubled then p =2p

Due to which new KE energy (  KE ') = (2p)^2/2m

                                                                =  4( p^2/ 2m)

                                                                = 4 KE ( from equation 1)

change in KE = KE' - KE

                       = 4KE -KE

                       = 3KE

% Change in KE = ( change in KE / initial KE ) *100%

                           = (  3 KE / KE ) * 100%

                           = 300% ans
