Answer:

The value of mn terms = 1.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that,

am = 1/n

an = 1/m

Therefore,

a + (m - 1 )d  = 1/n = a + dm - d                                    eqn1

a + ( n - 1)d = 1/m =  a + dn - d                                  eqn2

Subtracting eqn 1 - eqn2,

dm - dn = 1/n - 1/m

Therefore, d(m - n ) = m - n/mn

therefore, d = 1/mn

Now, substitute the value of d in eqn1,  and you get,   a  = 1/mn

Now, amn = a + ( mn - 1) d

              =  1/mn +( mn - 1)/mn

                  =  mn/mn =>  1.

Hence 1 is the answer.
