If mx+ny= m²-n² and ny + mx = 0, find the value of (x+y)

[The value of (x+y) is 'm-n ' but i don't know how. please help in this]​

mx + ny = m²-n² ................ ( 1 )

mx + my = 0 .................( 2 )

multiplying n with equation ( 1 ) & m with equation ( 2 ) ,

mnx + n² y = m²n - n³ ............ ( 1 )

mnx + m² y = 0 ............... ( 2 )

----------------------------------------------------------------------

( n²- m²) y = n ( m²- n² )

y = - n

put y = - n in equation ( 1 )

mx - n² = m²- n²

x = m

so , ( x + y ) = m - n

Hence , value of ( x + y ) is ( m - n )
