(n+1)×n×(n-1)! = 12 × (n-1)!

(n+1)n = 12

n² + n = 12

n² + n - 12 = 0

n² + 3n - 4n - 12 = 0

n(n + 3) -4(n + 3) = 0

(n - 4)(n + 3) = 0

n = 4 or -3

Hence, the value of n will be 3.
