Answer: (AB) lies between 25 and 50

Step-by-step explanation:

Refer to the attached image.

Here N is the total number of elements.

So (A) = 50

(B) = 75

Now (AB) will be min when A ∩ B = 0

Then (A+B) = (A) + (B) = 50 + 75 = 125 > 100. So , this is not possible as the maximum elements = 100.

Therefore (AB) min will be 25 (refer to the figure).

Also (AB) max will be 50. When A completely lies inside B(refer to the figure).
