Rs 350 is to be divided among three people-Ravi, Raju and Roy. Ravi should get 2 parts, Raju should get three parts and Roy should get five parts.
We'll write it in ratio.
Ratio = 2:3:5
Now, let the ratio be 2x, 3x and 5x.
2x + 3x + 5x = 350
10x = 350
x = 35
So,
2x = Rs 70
3x = Rs 105
5x = Rs 175
Ravi gets Rs 70
Raju gets Rs 105
Roy gets Rs 175
Ravi's percentage = (70/350) × 100
= 100/5
= 20%
Raju's percentage = (105/350) × 100
= (3/10) × 100
= 3 × 10
= 30%
Roy's percentage = (175/350) × 100
= 100/2
= 50%
