If n(A) =11 & n(B) =23 then
find the maximum and minimum of n( A union B)and maximum and minimum of n(A intersection B)

For A U B, the maximum will be when all elements are distinct, i.e, n(A)+n(B)=34

The minimum will be min. of A or B,i.e, 11

For A^B, the maximum will be max of A or B, i.e, 11

Minimum will be when all elements are distinct,

i.e, minimum will be 0.
