n (B) = 28 and n (A ∪ B) = 36. Since , n (A ∩ B) =n(A) + n(B) - n (A ∪ B) = 20 + 28 - 36. ∴ n (A ∩ B ) = 12. Concept: Number of Elements in a Set.
