If n(A) = 25 , n(B) = 40 ,
n(A union B) = 50 and n(B') = 25,
Find n(A intersection B) and n(U).

n(A intersection B)=n(A)+n(B)-n(A union B)

1.n(A intersection B)=25+40-50=15.

n(U)=n(B)+n(B')

2.n(U)=65.
