Here is Ur Answer:

n(A-B) = 7

n(B-A) = 21

n(A U B) = 40

We have to find n ( A intersection B )

We know that,

n(A U B) =n(A-B) + n(B-A) + n(A intersection B )

40 = 7 + 21 + n(A intersection B )

40 = 28 + n(A intersection B )

n(A intersection B ) = 40 - 28

n(A intersection B ) = 12

Answer:12

hope it helps u..
