here is your answer dear

______________________

it represents a negative integer or 0 . the reason is that as we know any no. subtracted from 1 will be smaller than 1 . hence , it will either be a negative integer or 0

swaminathan007: How it is negative plzz tell
Rupu49: bcoz √n is a perfect square means any positive no. without sq.root
Rupu49: and it is positive
mhesh1: you are subtracting a number from 1. the only possibilities are that either you will get a negative integer, zero(which is also an integer) or a positive integer.
swaminathan007: I know the ans but i want reason and steps
Rupu49: means it will multiply with 2 and then will be definitely greater than 1
Rupu49: therefore it will be a negative no.
swaminathan007: Ok than i understood
Rupu49: got it ?
Rupu49: ok cya bye
