Let \: the \: value \: of \: n \: be \: 3 \\  \\ Then \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  ({n}^{2}  - 1) \div 8 \\ ( {3}^{2} - 1 ) \div 8\\ (9 - 1) \div 8 \\ 8 \div 8  = 1
