Given : n is odd positive integer

aⁿ + bⁿ

To find : aⁿ + bⁿ  is divisible by

a) a²+b²

b) a+b

c) a-b

d) none of these

Solution:

aⁿ + bⁿ

n is  odd positive integer

then aⁿ + bⁿ  is divisible by   a + b

Let say  aⁿ + bⁿ  is a polynomial

and divisible by a - k

=> a = k

kⁿ + bⁿ = 0

kⁿ = -bⁿ

=> k = - b   as n is odd positive integer

aⁿ + bⁿ  is  divisible by  a -(-b)  = a + b

so a+ b is the the correct option
