Dividend= (Divisor×quotient)+ Remainder
When n is divided by 4 , suppose 'p' is the quotient and remainder=3
Therefore, n=4p+3
2n= 8p+6
When 2n is divided by 4 or when 8p+6 is divided by 4 then remainder =2 and quotient=2p+1
I hope it help me
