n[P(A)]= 2^n(A)
therefore
256=2^8=2^n(A)
n(A)= 8

It is given that n[ P(A) ] = 256

********************************

If number of elements in

Set A = n( A ) = m

Number of elements in power

set of A = n[P(A] then

n[ P(A) ] = 2^m

**************************************

Here ,

2^m = n[ P(A)]

=> 2^m = 256 [ given ]

=> 2^m = 2^8

=> m = 8

[ Since , If a^p = a^q then p = q ]

Therefore ,

m = n( A ) = 8
