If n(U) =50, n(A)=25 and n(B)=20, then find: (i) the greatest value of n(A U B) (ii) the least value of n(AB).

(i) the greatest value of n(A U B) is the sum of n(A) and n(B), i.e.,25+20=45
so,n(A U B)≥45
(ii) the least value of n(A Π B) is 0
so,n(A Π B)≤0

n (u)=50...
n(A)=25 & n(B)=20 are fixed .....how it will exceed to 50...no never
so ans is 45
