The minimum value of n(AB) is 10.

Given:-

n(U) = 70

n(A) = 35

n(B) = 45

To Find:-

The minimum value of n(AB).

Solution:-

We can simply calculate the minimum value of n(AB) by using these simple steps.

As

n(U) = 70

n(A) = 35

n(B) = 45

n(AB) =?

According to the formula of the universal sets,

number of set of A + number of set of B = number of universal set + number of sets of AB

So,

n(A) + n(B) = n(U) + n(AB)

on putting the values we get,

35 + 45 = 70 + n(AB)

n(AB) + 70 = 80

n(AB) = 80 - 70

n(AB) = 10

Hence, The minimum value of n(AB) is 10.
