Answer:

Given;

n(U) = 75

n(A) = 38

n(B) = 45

Then ,

n(A') = ?

n(B') = ?

Note: n(X') = n(U) - n(X).

Thus,

n(A') = n(U) - n(A)

= 75 - 38

= 37

Similarly,

n(B') = n(U) - n(B)

= 75 - 45

= 30.

Hence, the required values of n(A') and n(B') are 37 and 30 respectively.
