Transformer is a static electrical device that transfers electric energy from one or more circuits. it is  used for increasing (step up) or decreasing (step down) the alternating voltages. A transformer have two core separated electrically from each other. The coil connected with an AC input voltage and is called “the primary coil“ and the other coil connected with output circuit is called “the secondary coil”.

When number of turns in the primary coil N_{1} is more than the number of turns  in the secondary coil N_{2} the transformer is called Step-Down Transformer and when the number of turns in the secondary coil is more than the number of turns in the primary coil the transformer is called Step-Up Transformer.

Generally we use step down transformer so option  A is correct.
