If nickel sulphate is used as the electrolyte for electrolisis, will the bulb glow when electricity is passed

yes.. Nickel is a strong electrolyte..

Nickel sulphate (with water molecules in its crystalline form) dissociates in to [Ni.(H2O)6 ]2+ ions and [sulphate]2- ions and is highly soluble in water.  Thus the electrolyte will pass current very well.
