The molarity of  1.2N  Na₂CO₃  is 0.6M.

Explanation:

To calculate Molarity, from normality we use the formula:

Morality = \frac{Normality}{N-Factor} ;

Na₂CO₃ is a salt, the n-factor of salt is equal to the number of electrons exchanged (gained/lost).

Na₂CO₃ → 2 Na⁺ + CO₃²⁻;

So, an exchange of 2 electrons occurs.

Given:

Normalit = 1.2N

Subsituting;

[tex]Morality = \frac{1.2}{2}\\ Morality = 0.6\ M[/tex]

Hence, the molarity = 0.6 M.
