Given ,

nth term or general formula of an AP is 24 - 3n

Put n = 2 in nth term of an AP , we get

 \sf \hookrightarrow 24 - 3(2) \\  \\  \sf \hookrightarrow</p><p>24 - 6 \\  \\  \sf \hookrightarrow</p><p>18

Hence , the second term of an AP is 18
