Answer:23

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the first digit (digit at unit) be x and second be y (digit at tens).

Then the number is 10y+x

According to question x+y = 5

If numbers are reversed it will be 10x+y which is greater by 9 to original number so

10x+y = 10y+x+9

10x+y-10y-x =9

9x-9y = 9

So

x+y =5 and

9x-9y =9

Multiply first equation by 9

9x+9y=45

9x-9y=9

Cancel y

And 18x = 54

So x = 54/18 = 3

And x+y=5

So y= 5-x

y = 5-3 = 2

So the number is 10y+x

= (10×2)+3 =20+3=23
