Hey there !

Solution:

  • Number of Protons = 8
  • Number of Electrons = 8
  • Number of neutrons = 7

Atomic Number = Number of electrons = Number of protons

=> Atomic Number = 8

Charge of an atom = Number of protons - Number of electrons

=> Charge of an atom = 8 - 8 = 0 ( Neutral charge )

Mass Number of an atom = Number of Protons + Number of Neutrons

=> Mass number = 8 + 7 = 15 u

Hope my answer helped !
