Every part of a food chain is important for its continuity. If the number of frogs are reduced than the insects that they feed on will increase and due to this the number of plants will be reduced. Similarly, the snakes and eagles that feed on frogs would starve as number of frogs will be reduced. In short, the whole food chain will be disturbed.
