If numerator and denominator of a fraction have no common factor other than 1, then the fraction is said to be in it's irreducible form.

• There are two parts of a fraction -

1) Numerator.

2) Denominator.

• When the numerator and the denominator of a fraction don't have any common factor other than 1,then the fraction is in it's irreducible form.

• Which mean the fraction cannot be further simplified and it is already in the simplest form.

Example : 1/3 ; 1/5 ; 2/5 etc. (These fractions cannot be further simplified.)
