subtracted from numerator and denominator both, the rational number in its simplest form

is 12 . What is the rational number?​

according to the sum

(x-2-1)/(x-1)=1/2

(x-3)/(x-1)=1/2

2(x-3)=x-1

2x-6=x-1

X=-1+6

X=5

numerator=x-2=5-2=3

denominator=X=5

required rational number=3/5.
