T1 sin 30°=T2 sin 30°
T1=√3T2............(1)
T1 cos 30°=20 +T2..........(2)
Solving equations 1 nd 2

Given,

O is at equilibrium

T1=x,T2=y

To Find,

Value of x and y.

Solution,

From the diagram it is shown that,

T1 sin 30°=T2 sin 30°

T1=√3T2-(1)

T1 cos 30°=20 +T2-(2)

By putting the value of equation 1 in equation 2 we get,

√3T2cos30°=20+T2

⇒√3T2×√3/2=20+T2

⇒3T2/2=20+T2

⇒T2=40

From both the equation we can find out that,

T1=40√3 N and  T2=40N

Hence, Value of x=40√3 N and y=40N.
