y=z (as angle opposite to equal sides are equal because both the lines are radius of the same circle )

radius and tangent are perpendicular to each other

so 40+90+x= 180 ( angle sum property)

x = 50°

angle in straight line is 180°

let the other angle be a

a+x = 180

a+50=180

a= 130

y+z+a = 180 ( Angle sum property)

2y + 130 = 180

2y = 50

y=25

z= 25

x= 50
