Answer:

(i) We have AOC = 135˚  

then   COB = 180˚ - 135˚ = 45˚  

but   x = COB/2 = 45˚/2 = 22.1/2˚

 

(ii) In BOC,  

OB = OC  

So   OCB = OBC = 40˚  

In BOC,  

BOC = 180 – (40 + 40)˚

= 180˚ – 80˚

So     x = BOC/2

= 100˚/2 = 50˚

(iii)

APC = ½ AOC

= ½ × 120˚ = 60˚

Since, ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral

CBD = x is the exterior angle

So    x = APC  = 60˚
