Speed = 2m/s

Time taken to move = 15 minutes = 15 × 60 seconds = 900 seconds

Speed = (Distance travelled)/ (Time)

Distance = (Speed x Time)

= 2 x 900 =1800m

Also 1km= 1000m

Therefore 1800x (1/1000) = 1.8km.

The distance covered by the object is 1.8 km.
