Specific heat capacity is the amount of the energy required to raise the temperature of the body of mass 1 kg by 1°C. It is the Characteristics of the property. It is always constant for the same material and can never be same for two different substances. It even does not depends upon the mass. 

If the equal heat are transferred to the two different objects to raise there temperature by the same amount then there will only the difference of the specific heat capacity. 

The S.I. unit of the Specific Heat Capacity is J/kg K.
