We still have nuclear and coal. We might be more dependant on trains and ships to get around.
Tourism will certainly suffer but much of modern life should remain viable.
Oil is not only used as fuel but also to manufacture plastics. It is possible to extract oil from coal. This has been done in South Africa for years ( SASOL). It might not be enough to use for transport but should meet manufacturing needs.
Electric cars are already viable. Aviation might be the biggest victim.
We will travel less and waste less. Start loving those nuclear power plants!
