If one angle if a parallelogram is 24 degree less than twice thr samllest angle then the largest angle if parallelogram is?

maryanne: x = smallest angle
2x-24 = larger angle

all angles of a parallelogram = 360
x+x + 2x-24 + 2x-24= 360
6x -48 = 360
6x=312
x=52
Anonymous: 6x-48=360...6x=408....x=68
Anonymous: And he is asking for larger angle which is 112 not smaller

The total sum of parallelogram is 360°.therefore,
let the smaller angle be x.
2nd angle = 2x-24
in parallelogram,the opposite angles are equal !
therefore,
(2x-24)+(2x-24)+x+x=360
°
2x+2x+2x-48=360°
2x+2x+2x=360°+24+24
6x=360+48=408°
6x=408
x=(408÷6)=68
therefore,x=68° and the other angle=2x-24=(68×2)-24
=112°
largest angle is 112°

BrainlyKid: is my answer correct?
mysticd: ur answer is correct.but we can do another way also.sum fo adjacent angles are supplementary.
mysticd: x+2x-24=180.
mysticd: we can get x by simplifing it.

Let smaller angle be X
So,2nd angle will be 2x-24

SUM OF IIgm's angle is 360
Oppo. Sides of llgm are equal
So,
ATQ
x+x+(2x-24)+(2x-24)=360
6x-48=360
X=408/6
X=68

angle is 68
Then,putting value of x in....2x-24.......
2(68)-24
136-24
112 Is required angle which is largest among all....
