Answer :-

  • Measure of the angle is 95°.

Given :-

  • An angle is 10° more than it's supplement.

To Find :-

  • Value of the angle.

Solution :-

Let

  • The angle be x
  • It's complement will be x + 10

As we know that

  • Sum of two supplementary angles is 180°.

According to question :-

⇒ x + (x + 10) = 180

⇒ x + x + 10 = 180

⇒ 2x + 10 = 180

⇒ 2x = 180 - 10

⇒ 2x = 170

⇒ x = 170/2

⇒ x = 85

Now

  • It's supplement = x = 85°
  • The angle = x + 10 = 85 + 10 = 95°

Hence, the measure of the angle is 95°.

  • Value of the angle is 85°

  • Value of supplementary angle is x + 10° i.e. 85° + 10° = 95°
