60+60+x+x=360 (bcoz opposite angle of parallelogram is equal)
hence x=120
here x is adjacent angle

Given:

One angle of a parallelogram=60°

To find:

The opposite and the adjacent angle

Solution:

The opposite angle is 60° and the adjacent angle is 120°.

We can find the angles by following the steps given below-

We know that in a parallelogram, the angles opposite to each other are equal.

Let the parallelogram be ABCD and the angle A of the parallelogram is equal to 60°.

So, the angle opposite to angle A is angle C.

Since angle A=60°, angle C is also equal to 60°.

Now, the adjacent angle of angle A is angle B.

We know that the adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary.

So, angle A+angle B=180°

On putting values,

60°+angle B=180°

Angle B=180°-60°

Angle B=120°

The adjacent angle=120°

Therefore, the opposite angle is 60° and the adjacent angle is 120°.
