Let vertex angle = ∠A = 124°

Let each of the base angle = ∠B = ∠C =  x  (base angles are equal in isosceles triangle)

Now,

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°  (angle sum property)

124°  + x + x = 180°  

2x = 180° - 124°

⇒ 2x = 56°

x = \frac{56}{2}

⇒ x = 28°

Hence each of the base angle = 28°
