Let the three angles of the triangle be x, y, and z.

Here, let x = y + z.

As said first,

x + y + z = 180°

= x + (y + z) = 180°

= x + x = 180°

= 2x = 180°

x = 180° / 2 = 90°

We get x = 90°. Here we get that one angle of the triangle is 90°.

∴ The triangle is a right triangle.
