if one angle ofa triangle is 60° and another two angles are in ratio 1 : 2 find the angles

Solution:

The another two angles are in ratio 1 : 2

Let these are x and 2x

Using angle sum property of triangle,

we get,

60°+x+2x = 180°

3x = 120°

=> x = 40°

then, 2x = 80°

Hence the other two angles are 40° and 80°
