the lighter mass have more kinetic energy because it have same momentum . therefore kinetic energy is inversely proportional to mass.

Hi there!!

Formula of Kinetic Energy is
 \frac{1}{2} m {v}^{2}

which means that K.E is directly proportional to mass of the body.

Hence the lighter mass will have less K.E. and Heavier mass will have higher K.E
