• 1 score = 20 quantities

Now , ATQ :

= Cost of 1 dozen i.e. 12 pencils = ₹ 21

= Then , cost of 1 pencil will be = \sf \dfrac{21}{12}

• Now , cost of a score pencil i.e. 20 pencils -

= \sf \dfrac{21}{12} \times 20

= \sf \dfrac{7}{4} \times 20

= \sf 7 \times 5

Cost of a score pencil = 35
