If one end of the diameter of a circle with centre as origin
is (-2, 10), then the length of diameter of the
circle is

This question can be solved as:-)

As one end of the diameter is that is A(-2,10).

Given that centre of the circle is at origin which means the centre is at

O(0,0).

Now using distance formula we can calculate the radius of circle :-.

AO =  \sqrt{ {( - 2 - 0)}^{2} +  {(10 - 0)}^{2}  }  \\  =  \sqrt{4 + 100}  \\ =   \sqrt{104}  \\  = 2 \sqrt{26}

As we know that diameter is twice of the radius,

So , diameter of the circle will be

2 \times 2 \sqrt{26}  \\  = 4 \sqrt{26} \\=\sqrt{416}</p><p>\:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \boxed { \boxed{ANSWER}}
