Let the one number be x

Given that,

One natural number is 4 times other.

Then , the other number will be = 4x

Again, it’s given that

• Sum of the two numbers = 65

Then,

  \dashrightarrow  {\sf{Sum = 65}} \\  \\ \dashrightarrow  {\sf{x + 4x= 65}} \\  \\ \dashrightarrow  {\sf{5x= 65}} \\  \\\dashrightarrow  {\sf{x=    \cancel{\dfrac{65}{5}}}} \\

\bf{ ⇢ x    = 13 }

\underline{\textsf{ The  other number is  \textbf{ 52}}}.

 \\  \underline{ \bigstar \textsf{Let's check the answer :- }} \\  \\

Here,

• Sum of the two numbers = 65

• One number = 13

• Other number = 52

 \\  \underline{ \bigstar \textsf{Substitute given the values : }} \\  \\

 \dashrightarrow  {\sf{Sum = 65}} </p><p></p><p>\\  \\\dashrightarrow {\sf{13+52= 65}} \\  \\ \dashrightarrow  {\sf{65= 65}} \\ \\

Answer:

Let one natural number be x.

x + 4x = 65

x = \frac{65}{5}

x = 13.

4x = 52

Therefore the two natural numbers are 13 and 52.
