if one number of Pythagorean triplet is x then other numbers are (x²-1)/2 and (x²+1)/2

= (9²+1)/2 and (9²-1)/2

= (81-1)/2 and (81+1)/2

= 80/2 and 82/2

= 40 and 41

pythagorean triplet is a^2 +b^2 = c^2

so let's assume a is 9

9^2 + b^2 = c^2 ( let c be 15)

81 + b^2 = 15 ^2

b^2 = 225- 81

b^2 = 144

b = root 144

= 12

hence the pythagorean triplets are 9,12,15
