a pythagorean triplet for an odd no

1. a² =b+c

2. c-b=1

So, 9² =81=40+41,41-40=1

The pythagorean triplet is 9,40,41.

Given :

one number of the pythagorean triplet is 9

To find :

find the triplet

Step-by-step explanation:

Pythogoras Theorem = a^2 = b^2 + c^2

other two terms of pythogorean triplet :

( {m}^{2} - 1) \: and \: ( {m}^{2} + 1)

(1.)

= ({m}^{2} - 1) \div 2= ({9}^{2} - 1) \div 2= (81 - 1) \div 2= (80) \div 2= 40

(2.)

= ({m}^{2} + 1) \div 2= ({9}^{2} + 1 )\div 2= (81 + 1 )\div 2= (82 )\div 2= 41

Triplet = 41 , 40 & 9
