\huge\bold{\mathtt{Question⇒}}

If one of the members of Pythagorean triplet is 10 find the other two nembers (take 2M=10).

\huge\bold{\mathtt{Given⇒}}

  • One of the members of Pythagorean triplet is 10.

  • 2M=10

\huge\bold{\mathtt{To\:find⇒}}

The other two nembers.

\huge\bold{\mathtt{Solution⇒}}

2M = 10

First we have to find the value of M.

2M = 10

➳ M = \frac{10}{2}

➳ M = 5

We know that a Pythagorean Triplet with M is

{2M, (M²-1), (M²+1)}

So, the triplet

= {2M, (M²-1), (M²+1)}

Substitute M with 5.

= {(2×5), (5²-1), (5²+1)}

= {10, (25-1), (25+1)}

= (10, 24, 26)

\huge\bold{\mathtt{Hence⇒}}

The triplet = (10, 24, 26)

Other two members = 24 and 26.

\huge\bold{\mathtt{Therefore⇒}}

The other two nembers of the Pythagorean triplet are 24 and 26.
