If one of the root of 2x^2+kx-6=0 is 3,find value of 'k'and also find other root

if 2x^2+kx-6=0 has root 3

SO,

2(3)^2+3k-6=0

18+3k-6 =0

k = 4

SO,

VALUE OF K IS 4

THEREFORE,

other root be x

we know that

sum of zeroes = -b/a

3+X = -4/2

X = -2 -3

X = -5

so zeroes are 3,-5
