p(x) = 2x² -3x + p

Since 3 is one of the root....So, p(3) = 0

2(3)²-3(3)+p=0

2(9)-9+p=0

18-9+p=0

9+p= 0

p= -9

Equation becomes......2x² -3x - 9

2x² -3x -9 = 0

2x² - 6x+3x-9=0

2x(x-3)+3(x-3)=0

(2x+3)(x-3)=0

x= -3/2 ................x= 3
